Last Minute Details

I cannot stand to have idle hands, so "just in case" there's some down time at the Kitsap Quilt show tomorrow, I drew up this rather large pincushion; one I won't misplace. And besides, I always enjoy showing folks what I'm working on....explaining the "hows and whys" I do what I do. And it's nice getting feedback. Oh, and I do hope that some kids will come by and will want to try a stitch or two.
My husband always comes and works the shows with me...we are a team. His being there allows me this luxury of show and tell...and

I love lavender so making this very simple sachet was a given. I wrote the word using a lead pencil and stitched it up. And I had the perfect piece of old ribbon. Don't you love it when a project just flows. I made 2 of these in fact; one for the drawer and one for show and tell.

Here is the other item....one can never have too many pillows. I hand dyed the background wool using onions skins and the color is such a warm color. I gave a discarded bed pillow a new life....why not? with lots of mottling.

I'm just about finished with my latest Mother Nature doll. Just need to take a few photos for the pattern and I'll be all set for ...
