A Little Punching

I took a class this weekend on needle punching a rug with Lolly and Ellen from Needles in the Nest in California. They are both certified Amy Oxford teachers and were very thorough and oh so patient. They kept us entertained as well!
The selection of yarns were absolutely gorgeous!
As you know I typically do the traditional method of hooking but I was anxious to try this one and compare the two. It was a great day!

I did the chicken pattern...love my feathered friends!

The bee hive was a popular choice.

  2. Hello Darlene, Just wanted to send a happy note to you to say thanks for visiting The Girlfriend Gap Blog and taking the time to leave a sweet comment to say hello. I loved visiting your blog and looking at some of your beautiful creations. Rug hooking has always intrigued me but I have never done it. And I loved your little tree pattern on the previous post. Life with creativity in makes me happy! Can't imagine life without it. Enjoy today. Janita
