Just finished this notebook (journal) cover pattern. It was a bit tricky making it fit nicely over the book I chose, but I finally succeeded. But writing the instructions is the most difficult part for me. Trying to put myself in someone else shoes when reading it. How detailed do I need to be? And recently I've been adding thread to some of the kits, so that can be challenging keeping track of much I use, especially when I have interruptions, as we all do. But I admit, it does get easier the more I do it.
Just a quick shot of another one of my favorite scrappy rugs. I do enjoy making these hit or misses...using up scraps and worms and cleaning out the scrap baskets. I do have some which I am no longer fond of for whatever reason....poor judgement, wrong colors, etc. Do you?
This is one of my favorite hit or miss rugs. The background is done with lots of browns and dark reds. The crosses are in golds, tans, and lighter tones. It needs a mall repair where my kitty snagged a loop....one of these days.
