Olympic Wool Works: Finishing the Old Year and Preparing for the New One

We had a wonderful year of shows and now we get to take a breather until March. In the meantime we have orders to fill, dye lots of wool, add new items to our website inventory, thoroughly update the website, and create new designs for patterns. Designing patterns is what I enjoy doing the most. It's nice to have some time to be creative. We'll keep you informed about our new stuff and additions in the newsletter. Here's a peak at one of my new patterns: "Pick Me": Applique Pillow.  I'm working on the publication of the pattern and it will be completed fairly soon.

I've also used some of my free time to hang out with my wool lady friends. Here are a few pictures of their latest work:

Here's a couple of hooked rugs (and a future hooked rug) by Nancy in Issaquah:

This is her cat's portrait.

Nancy purchased a bunch of wool fabric from Olympic Wool Works to make this primitive tiger.

Christmas by Susan from Port Angeles, WA.

This interesting hooked rug is also by Susan

. Hooked bouquet by Tia, from Port Angeles.

Knitted and felted purse by Debbie, from Port Angeles.

We'll be getting out a newsletter within a week that will let you know about our new listings on the website, our winter shows, and any other news that might come up by then.

Thanks for checking in at the blog.
