Christmas Bird Block

I've been having fun working on this Christmas banner. This is a break from my usual wool applique, but I so love doing hand embroidery. This project is a great way to use little tidbits I have collected over the years. And to use some of the gifting from friends.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE UPDATE

I decided to quilt the background with seed stitching. Added a sweet bow on top and some lollipops made with butchers twine, plus a few yo-yos. I'm calling it done and moving onto the next! (I know I can always come back).

I'm Back !

I know it's been a very long time, but I've decided to reactivate my blog. This past month I've been busy adding a new selection of mottled wools which is perfect for primitive rug hooking and wool applique. The response has been great so far and I thank you once again for your support. I've added over 20 new colors for you to choose from. So take a look right here . Of course I will be adding more. Dyeing wool is so rewarding for me!
